Authors retain copyright in their work.

By publishing in JFME, authors grant the journal and publisher a non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, preserve and archive the article in all media and formats, and to identify the journal as the original publisher of the Version of Record.

SELF-ARCHIVING (REPOSITORIES)

Authors are encouraged to deposit the submitted manuscript (preprint), accepted manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript), and published Version of Record in institutional or subject repositories, personal webpages, or institutional websites immediately upon publication and without embargo.

Deposited versions should include the complete bibliographic citation, a link to the published version and the DOI where available.

THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL

If an article contains third-party material not covered by the article’s CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, this will be identified in an appropriate credit line. Permission from the copyright holder may be required for reuse beyond applicable copyright law.

JFME provides immediate open access to all published content. Readers may read, download, copy and share articles for non-commercial purposes, with attribution and without alteration, under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
