INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other publication. All submissions must be submitted in English, written in a concise manner. It is the responsibility of the authors to review the translation and assume responsibility for the final English version of the paper. The preferred format for submissions is Microsoft Word (DOC/DOCX). Authors must use the editorial email and should not simultaneously submit the manuscript elsewhere.

Manuscripts should be formatted according to these instructions:

  • The title page must contain the title, authors’ names, affiliations, ORCID, and contact email for the corresponding author.
  • The paper should not exceed 20 pages, including references and annexes.
  • An abstract of maximum 250 words is required, in English and Romanian.
  • Keywords are required; maximum five. Words already in the title should not be repeated.
  • Maximum three JEL classification codes are required. See the JEL Classification System.
  • The paper must be in Word format, A4, margins 2.5 cm, Arial 11, single spacing, 0 points before and 6 points after. See the Paper template: PDF / DOCX.
  • The Reference section should use APA format.

Papers that do not comply with this guide will not be considered. Multiple or redundant posting is not allowed.

Submissions should be sent by email to jfme@icfm.ro. Conference manuscripts may first be sent to conferintaEFM@icfm.ro and then forwarded to the journal. JFME does not currently use an online submission system. All correspondence takes place electronically.

If the paper has been accepted after evaluation, the author must complete a STATEMENT confirming originality, exclusive submission and compliance with the journal’s ethical standards. Authors must declare conflicts of interest, funding sources and use of AI/generative AI, if any.
