INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other publication. All submissions must be submitted in English or Romanian. The preferred format for submissions is Microsoft Word (DOC/DOCX). Authors must use the journal’s submission system or editorial email and should not simultaneously submit the manuscript elsewhere. 

Manuscripts should be written formatted according to these instructions:

     Papers must be in English or Romanian, written in a concise manner. It is strongly recommended to submit the papers in English. If it is not possible, the journal will undertake the translation. However, it is the responsibility of the authors to review the translation and assume responsibility for the final English version of the paper. 

     The title page must contain the title, authors’ names, affiliations, ORCID, and contact email for the corresponding author.

     The paper should not exceed 20 pages, including the references and annexes.

     An abstract of maximum 250 words is required. The abstract will be written in English and Romanian.

     Keywords are required; maximum five words that are already in the title should not be repeated.

     Maximum three JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) classification code is also required. Find this classification at http://www.aeaweb.org/journal/jel_class_system.html.

     The paper must be in Word format, A4, top/bottom 2.5 cm left/right 2.5 cm, Arial 11, line spacing: single, indentation 0 points before, 6 points after. (pdf, docx)

     The Reference section should include relevant sources and should appear in APA references format (please, find example here)

     Papers that don't comply with this guide will not be considered for publication.

     An author, wishing to submit a paper to the Journal of Financial and Monetary Economics, should send it by email to jfme@icfm.ro. All correspondence, including notification of the decision and requests for revision, takes place electronically.

     Publication fees: FREE OF CHARGE.

     Handling fees: FREE OF CHARGE.

If the paper has been accepted after evaluation, the author must complete a STATEMENT confirming that the manuscript is original, not under consideration elsewhere, and complies with ethical standards of the journal.

Manuscripts submitted to JFME are handled exclusively by email, initially to the conference address: conferintaEFM@icfm.ro, then forwarded to the journal or sent directly to: jfme@icfm.ro. Manuscripts must comply with the reviewers' comments and must be prepared based on the editorial guidelines; otherwise they may be rejected without evaluation.
